Unusual Photographs

Much of what we would like to believe is 'spirit captured on film' can be scientifically explained:

orbs (dust on the lens)

ribbons of light (developer, a slow shutter speed - any camera movement at that time),

smoky ectoplasmic shapes generally are the camera strap, cigarette smoke,

superimposed film

There are instances where something is captured on film that cannot be explained scientifically. Look for a scientific explanation first, then go to metascience, especially with orb photos, as they are so frequently found when using a digital camera.
