Have you ever had a thought come into your mind, then as quickly as it entered your consciousness, it disappeared? It's like remembering the details of a dream - capturing them before your focus and consciousness frequency shifts.
In a busy world, where many of us multitask. In our current consciousness frequency, thoughts come into your head then are forgotten a few seconds later if you get busy with other things that take priority. For those having difficulty focusing - write it down as soon as a thought comes to mind. A word, maybe several words will bring to mind what you want and/or need to remember.
You may also find that a doodle next to a reminder could hold a clue to something else you need to remember that never occurred to you until later and you saw the relationship between what you are doing and what it means or symbolizes.
Electronic devices also work as reminders and are a great way to keep track of things, though batteries could run low, so writing something down is often best.
