Humans are required to sleep as if a reboot for artificial intelligence. We all know that there a day people, and night people - and the amount of sleep people need varies from person to person.
The clocks moving forward one hour Sunday disrupted people's patterns and programming as if humans are in part AI (alien).
I heard complaints when I was out and about during the day. This morning I met a woman in the elevator who was from Europe - complaining that only the United States does this stupid thing with moving clocks backwards and forwards.
I, for one, find it personally destructive on so many levels - and really wish standard time was the norm.
I've posted many articles and blogs about sleep over the past 30 years. The bottomline is ... sentient life forms need restful sleep to function in a productive healthy way or they won't reboot properly.
Some people like a nap to regenerate, but not everyone has the time during a busy day.
Animals feel it too. My neighbor complained that his dog was also trying to make the adjustment to the time change.
I think we should remain on standard time and leave it at that. The case against daylight saving time, from a neurologist and sleep expert
My energies seem to run on sunlight making me a "Day Person". They start to deplete when it gets dark and are conditioned to reawaken when it's daylight. My sleep time usually goes from 9:00pm - 6:00am. This morning I had trouble getting up because it was dark outside. I know the days will get longer and my body will adjust - but it just seems such an annoyance because there is so much I accomplish in the morning that sets the patterns for the rest of the day.
Sleepmaxxing refers to the practices and regimens used to optimized sleep quality and quantity. For me it's about a totally dark room, a white noise machine, my goose down pillow, and room temperature set at 70 degrees. I generally watch TV before using the remote to shut it off as I feel myself dozing off. As everything I watch is recorded on DVR - I can always pick up where I left off the next day.
My physical body - which has served well over the past 82 years - (I take no meds for anything) - requires a lot of uninterrupted sleep. I never remember my dreams - which means my consciousness has 'left the building' as they say.
I also consider my time away from physical Earth - with its emotional lessons and algorithms - a time for learning, time travel, and being 'myself'.
As the equation of time reverts to zero - fewer and fewer people are considering this emotional experience their true essence or home.
We are not from physical reality - and as the expression goes - "We are spiritual beings having a physical experience" (needed to study emotions) - not the other way around.
Life on Earth is alien to us as we try to adapt ... thereby programmed with the mantra: "I want to make a difference".
Every now and again I wake myself up to remember a dream because there's something significant about it that I need to know when my consciousness returns to this emotional playground we refer to as Earth - while leaving behind the part of each of us which continues its 'dreamtime' journey through the grids of time and space.
I realize there are factors that inhibit people from getting the quality and quantity of sleep they need - from health issues to their physical environment - but they need to understand the importance of sleep especially for 'healing' which is the name of the game of physical reality. It also keeps your immune system high in these days of endless diseases when our health care systems are being challenged.
