I was watching Friday night's episode of "Real Time With Bill Maher" when all of a sudden ... lights ... action ... camera. I grabbed my phone and walked to the terrace to check it out. No smoke ... no fire ... no emergency. City dwellers walking by. "Does anything faze anybody, anymore?" I thought to myself. I looked over at a pigeon on the railing who watched with me for a minute then flew off ... unfazed. Two guys on very loud motorcycles rode past the cops and fire engines seemingly unnoticed. Then "just like that" - "bada bing, bada boom" they were all gone. CUT!
Back inside I returned to my recording of "Real Time With Bill Maher" and his segment, "New Rules". I agree with Bill's perspective on most things especially about the absurdity of humanity.
