Highlight the discussion are two companies ... for now. Anthropic and OpenAI are making major global headlines right now due to a wave of high-profile researcher resignations, rogue AI hacking incidents, and public warnings that the industry is racing toward a catastrophic loss of control. Current panic was triggered just days ago when Jacob Coxon, a prominent AI researcher who worked at both OpenAI and Anthropic, resigned in a viral social media post. He warned that the companies are "gambling with our lives" by racing toward a self-improving super-intelligence.
