Laura Croft, Strong Women

Angelina Jolie starred in Lara Croft: Tomb Raider and Tomb Raider: The Cradle of Life - two action packed, fast-paced films with metaphysical themes and lots of metaphors. I love Lara, a strong woman who bears similarities to Sarah, in my book Sarah and Alexander (good looks, smart, confident, stunning, charismatic, inner and outer strength, educated, archaeologists, study everything and can do most anything without the help of a man ... at least most of the time).

Always having been a strong woman, I admire those traits. We all seek to be strong, manifesting what we need to fulfill our destinies as we evolve on all levels.

We define strength in many different ways, from accepting who you are, to overcoming life's obstacles, being independent, being the best person you can be and not allowing others to influence what you know is your truth. Being strong often involves healing after experiencing life.

Not all women have the opportunity to be strong, but there are ways if one tries. It is all about personal freedom and feeling happy with who you are and what you do. In today's world it is more about emotional strength and spiritual direction than physical strength, though your physical body speaks for who you are internally.

As the end of the day, it all goes to one's emotional state of mind and body. Work on yourself.
