When I did the Jon Stewart show, an expert on body language told me I cross my legs like a man that ladies cross one leg over the other. When I came home, I looked at the way I cross my legs, especially when I work at the computer, and lo and behold I discovered she was right. I had become accustomed to crossing my left leg over my right so that I can keep my legs crossed and still be able to pull the keyboard shelf out - my left leg is horizontal and so comfortable. When I cross my right leg over the left, it goes in the normal position for a female. Today on the news they talked about man-spreading on the subways in the city.
