Recently I read a student who is attending a university here in New York City. She told me that she was able to create her own major and program her goals. What an amazing idea!

When you are undecided about your future career - business, teaching, and health the wrong way to go - students are guided to major in creative fields - film and/or communications at the top of the list. Everyone wants a creative career which they are passionate about. They want to write ... something ... anything.

Media always was an overly saturated field those numbers increasing. I'm not opposed to one following their creative dreams, but you also need a day job.

.... You are about to finish college or university. You need a job. What are you qualified for?

There are people who have the ability to go out and get a job and shape a career - while others won't work unless a job is offered to them - generally by friends or family.

Young people who are not skilled often have problems with authority figures. It's all part of this university/universe we came here to experience and document.
