The binary suns were actually sighted by a tour guide on an island near Taiwan. I visited there once before coming to the states. The anchor woman was broadcasting the rare sighting, discussing all kinds of rumors about the appearance of two suns and why it happened. Scientists said it's caused by the projection of the image of the Sun that created some kind of 'optical illusion'. Scientists also said this was especially rare because usually the projected image was not so close to the Sun like this one. The anchor woman was telling people not to worry, it's not the end of world. ;) It's a very interest video.
