The cave represents the mind, consciousness. Our reality returns to the chaos from which it came, tearing down everything in its wake. This is the time we search for the truth about our origins. This article talks about ancient legends from around the world spell out the nature of that state before the beginning of society and civilization. They are called Creation Myths that have their own set of characters - good and evil in duality - that were believable in their timelines, but that now can be appreciated for their metaphoric content.
