A Christmas Tree beside an obelisk whose pyramidion (capstone) is camouflaged by falling snow - standing at the foot of the Verrazano Bridge and Atlantic Ocean - as if frozen in time. Welcome to Ellie's World.

I woke up at 7:00 am with the enthusiasm of a little child on Christmas morning as I ran to the window to see the first snow of winter set against a backdrop of the Verrazano Bridge - just before the lights on the Christmas tree in the park outside automatically shut off.
The Christmas Tree in the park - with its magical twinkling lights, continues to inspire both children and adults of all faiths who come to visit.
Just outside the park across the street a lone passerby leaves her footprints in the snow.

In recent days I was out and about with neighbors and friends - some of whom I hadn't seen in years - reminiscing about how time has flown and everything has changed. There are topics left undiscussed and plans woven into uncertainty. Current algorithms are reshaping the thinking and emotions of the human experiment as it moves forward, guided by forces on the fringe of reality.
