The past weeks have been about rekindling friendships from my high school and college years in Brooklyn. It all started when I reconnected with my friend Nina on March 26th and has expanded to other friends all of whom now live on the east coast of Florida. I think I'm the only one left in Brooklyn, yet I love my home by sea at the foot of the Verrazano Bridge and my proximity to everything.

Perspectively my reunions seem like a lifetime ago stirring happy memories of the past. I loved my school years - these trips down memory lane showing my the road not taken had I stayed on the traditional path as my destiny unfolded in its unique way.

Memories come and go as consciousness takes us on journeys through the grids of reality. I feel blessed and lucky by the way my life turned out and continues to do so.
