Tesla, the white pigeon, visited me this morning when the rest of the neighborhood was asleep. Though I don't feed him - he never misses an opportunity to stop by and say hi.
I sometimes wonder if someday the rapid flight patterns of the pigeons over the water and the Verrazano Bridge - then back-and-forth from my building to the one across the street - will signal a natural disaster.
