Trump joins Macron for Paris Bastille Day parade
BBC - July 14, 2017
Happy Bastille Day to those who celebrate.
It's always been about freedom.
The motto of the French Republic is
"Liberty, Equality, Fraternity or Death".
The notions of liberty, equality and fraternity were linked
by Fenelon at the end of the 17th century, and the linkage
became widespread during the Age of Enlightenment.
Pat and I took the NY Ferry from Bay Ridge Terminal to Wall Street and back. We posted short videos on Facebook with the message: "To our five daughters ... welcome to our Grandma adventure. May you enjoy life like we do when you're our age. This is what modern women look like at 74 and 64 and Free. We never grow old. Girls just having fun!
As Pat and I sailed past the Statue of Liberty, thoughts of France came to mind.
The Statue of Liberty is the small object in the water to the left in my pic above.
Memories of 9/11 - Ground Zero and the Freedom Tower are to my right.
"Pat and the Journey to Freedom" - The Freedom Tower - Ground Zero
The Adventures of Samantha Stone
A 9/11 story I wrote that remains unfinished.
Giant skull appears above Italian volcano:
Eerie face forms in smoke rising over Mount Vesuvius, caused by surrounding wildfires
Do you remember this smoke scrying picture from 9/11?
"Cloud or smoke scrying" is looking at a cloud formation
and creating personal interpretations or messages.
Thursday as Pat and I arrived at Ground Zero
that energy had long since dissipated like a puff of smoke.
