In 2020, the world dealt with Covid-19 making visiting a crop circle difficult. Nonetheless crop circle season which generally runs from late May to August - saw the appearance of various geometric patterns in fields, sparking renewed interest and debate about their origins. While some attribute them to natural phenomena like ball lightning or even extraterrestrial activity, many researchers and IFLScience says they are often human-made, sometimes elaborate forms of landscape art.
