Wind Wolves

'Wind Wolves' is a phrase used to describe tall grasses moving with the wind. Some say the name comes from the sound tall grasses in the wind make, while others believe it has to do with the way they look. Perhaps both could be the case.

The phrase seems to have originated in California, where a nature preserve named Wind Wolves Preserve was established in 1996.
