Friday 2/28/25 - the world watched an historic showdown between President Zelensky and Trump - in what came across as an ambush by Trump.

A Russian state media reporter gained entry to the Oval Office for Trump-Zelensky sit-down but was later asked to leave. Though the group of pool reporters in the Oval Office was hand picked, the White House has denied the TASS staffer was permitted entry.

It all goes to secret conversations, plots and plans between Putin and Trump about their joint personal agendas - the age old goals of money and power. I've always believed Putin is using Trump and revels in the chaos going on in America today. .

You may recall that my heritage takes me to Ukraine (Odessa). Wherever Friday's altercation between Trump and Zelensky takes the world - bravo to Zelensky for standing his ground as Trump and Vance tried to bully him. Soon others - in and out of the US - will rebel.

Trump, Musk, Putin, etc. There are so many conspiracies (distractions) going on today it's hard to keep up. I don't even try - ignoring the news most day. I'm not sure if anyone knows truth from fiction as things shift from day to day. I don't play conspiracy games but many people enjoy the thrill - like solving a mystery.

One thing that still seems to hold true is something Anthony Scaramucci and Michael Cohen said about Trump. When Trump holds the palms of his hands facing each other - and moves them in and out - that's a "tell" he is lying - most recently noted when Trump talked about not changing Medicare, Medicare, and Social Security. Watch for it. Anytime that the accordion hands start, that means that he's not telling the truth.

I recently noticed that Trump doesn't wear his wedding ring. No reason to. Melania is in NYC with Barron.

I finally got to binge watch the six-part mini-series Zero Day featuring an ensemble cast led by Robert De Niro a New Yorker at heart. This film - on and off screen - was a perfect fit for him because many of the scenes were shot across the Big Apple.

Like myself, Robert De Niro was born in NYC in 1943. I enjoy watching people my age still mentally and physically fit enjoying their chosen careers and making a difference. I have always been a De Niro fan.

As 'Zero Day' is a political thriller about government corruption - one cannot forget De Niro voicing his concerns about Trump being re-elected last year. He was right as Trump and his loyalists have two agendas - one seemingly for the people but nothing more than a placebo in the name of fixing the government - the other self-serving to rule the world.

'Zero Day' depicts the chaos that can ensue when Americans are denied their civil liberties even those as basic as health care, housing, and food.

Everyone knows that the government runs on conspiracies and lies - a reflection of the reality in which we exist - bipolar to be physical and therefore broken.
