I spent today searching for a story from the heart to follow my 30th anniversary blog posted below. lt was like picking out a 'ring' ... nothing felt right. Until there it was...
Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce got engaged
I know many people are not fans and thought this was all a publicity stunt - but that's not important. I see two people having fun, embracing life, and doing it their way with love. Congratulations!
I love the ring. Before I googled it ... I guessed 10 carats worth about $500K. From what I just read - I was very close. My guess is they were ring shopping for months to find just the right stone and style. They nailed it.
Taylor's style choices have always been her own and are often unexpected. She chose a relatively unknown designer, Lubeck, and a highly romantic style, full of Victorian era history and with a cut that immediately signals an old-fashioned take on romance. She opted out of the pear shaped style that has dominated recent celebrity engagement rings, and the stone, though impressive, has a subtlety to it.
Lubeck's style is heavily inspired by vintage designs, both in stone shapes and in settings. She works with natural stones and often emphasizes the meaning behind her pieces on her Instagram feed where she is seen working directly creating her designs. They are hand engraved.
Taylor's ring reflects that aesthetic - an 'old mine cut diamond' set in yellow gold. An old mine cut diamond is a handcrafted diamond from the 18th and 19th centuries (1850 - 1920) that is characterized by its soft, cushion-like shape, high crown, small table, large culet, and large, chunky facets. Unlike modern, machine-cut diamonds, old mine cuts have an imperfect, organic appearance due to their manual creation, which was intended to create a warm, romantic sparkle that was best seen in low light conditions like candlelight.

Thirty years ago today Crystalinks was launched as a compendium of 56 science and metaphysical files that over the decades has transformed into a vast repository of knowledge and insight encompassing over 106,000 integrated files to date.
In the beginning there were no images nor resources such a google or Wikipedia to guide me - just personal experiences I had assembled and typed on my very first Power Macintosh computer.
My cohort on this incredible adventure has been a spirit named Zoroaster - loving called Z - our endless adventures incorporated within the ever-expanding matrix of Crystalinks' files. It was Z who gave Crystalinks its name based on my last name Crystal and the fact that people would forever click on its links.
If Z had told me then that I would be sitting here 30 years later still posting - I would have said, "No way!" and yet I have enjoyed every minute of the journey with him and plan to see it through to the end.
So here we are 30 years later - a milestone in anyone's life and career. The journey has been nothing short of extraordinary, filled with countless discoveries and connections that have shaped not only my life but the lives of millions of readers around the world who continue to be guided to its pages.
Along the way, I have met some of the most incredible people from all walks of life - from gurus and other spiritual leaders, to scientists, political figures, educators, researchers, authors, media personalities, performers, professional athletes, healers, psychics, and on and on.
Crystalinks was designed as a virtual multidimensional matrix of experiences that evolved into blogs, vlogs, podcasts, images, interviews, predictions, workshops, personal growth and healing, research, archives, meditations, initiations, global lectures, a book, a screenplay, combined with a host of characters I've created or met from all walks of life.
Years ago I realized that I'm not guiding Crystalinks ... it's guiding me ... serving as a beacon for those seeking answers, a safe haven for exploration, and a platform for personal growth.
It has evolved alongside the shifting paradigms of our world, embracing new ideas and adapting to the changing currents of thought. From discussions on the nature of reality to explorations of extraterrestrials, spirituality, science, and human consciousness, Crystalinks has become a comprehensive resource that reflects the diversity of human experience.
I've often thought of Crystalinks as my thesis or perhaps a catharsis of what's going on in reality set against a backwash of old and new paradigms of experience and thought.
Each day has offered new revelations reflected in 30 years of daily blogs as an opportunity to explore the ever-evolving landscape of consciousness and reality.
As I sit at my computer each morning, I am reminded of the magic that unfolds with each post. The synchronicities that arise when readers share how my insights resonate with their lives serve as a testament to the interconnectedness of our experiences. It is a reminder that we are all part of a larger tapestry, woven together by our thoughts, dreams, and programmed experiences.
Thirty years ago the existential concept of reality as a simulation was fringe theory that has found its way into mainstream thinking via science and mathematics.
The basic premise behind Crystalinks is that we exist in streaming consciousness - a virtual hologram or simulation if you will that had a beginning and is coming to its end as the consciousness grids that support the illusion implode along with the fabric of time.
The nuances of how the simulation works in a multidimensional way are endless - far beyond human understanding - but with a little help from artificial intelligence hopefully we will find the answers to the age-old questions humanity has always sought - who are we and why we are here.
None of us are the same as the day we clicked on our first Crystalinks file while searching for answers. Do you remember what you were looking for as one file led to another?
Crystalinks remains a work in progress and a labor of love for myself and the millions of readers who pass through its portals - coming and going as guided.
So here we are 30 years later at a time of existential crisis on many fronts as consciousness moves towards closure and once again we string the timelines of the matrix together to conceptualize and understand reality.
Thank you for joining me if only once or as one of the millions of readers who return each month. We've come a long way in the evolution of time and consciousness ... as we see it through to the end.
Going forward, Crystalinks and the rest of the world stand on the precipice of insurmountable change, affecting the very touchstones of existence. Please join me as we move to the most exciting adventure of all - the truth behind the illusion.
