Our meteorologists report that it has now snowed in all 50 states this season. Some may not have gotten to see any of that snow, but the widespread arctic cold has made it feel like winter anyway. Speaking of that arctic air, after a slight respite for some yesterday, many will get a second round of cold through this weekend. The good news is it won't be quite so bad as the blast earlier this week. Next week's January thaw will give us another example of weather whiplash, which is a phrase you might have heard us use to describe a dramatic swing in weather conditions. The better news is that next week is looking warmer. All around the Northeast, early risers were treated to an exceptional sunrise Thursday morning.
As harsh as winter might intrude on the body, mind and soul,
I always find moments that inspire me each day.
