The Time Jimmy Carter Probably Saved The World And Almost Nobody Noticed
Quote: We must adjust to changing times and still hold to unchanging principles.
Like any President, Carter's administration had positives and negatives. I best remember his tireless work and endless accomplishments after leaving office.
At 100 Jimmy Carter voted in the 2024 presidential election.
On a clear night in 1969, Jimmy Carter and 10-12 other people stood outside a restaurant in Georgia their attention riveted by a ball of white light in the sky. It moved in their direction but stopped beyond pine trees some distance from them. The object then changed color, first to blue, then to red, then back to white, before appearing to recede into the distance. Carter felt that the object was self-illuminated and not solid in nature. It was in view for 10 to 12 minutes before it passed out of sight.
The sighting is said to have had a personal impact on Carter and his perception of UFOs and UFO sightings. During his 1976 election campaign, he is said to have told reporters that, as a result of it, he would institute a policy of openness if he were elected to office, saying: "One thing's for sure, I'll never make fun of people who say they've seen unidentified objects in the sky. If I become President, I'll make every piece of information this country has about UFO sightings available to the public and the scientists." Despite that earlier pledge, once elected, Carter distanced himself from disclosure, citing "defense implications" as being behind his decision.
It's obvious that Jimmy Carter found about presidential policies and coverups that happened prior to his term in office but it was not the right time for disclosure. Decades would pass with the same unanswered questions and conspiracy theories.
Today we wonder if Trump - returning to the presidency - will have no choice but to open the door to the truth about human-alien connections that goes beyond lights in the sky. In the age of technology, the truth will out.
