I took the photo above after noticing the small rainbow (sun dog) over the Verrazano Bridge as I stood on my terrace watching the sun set. The sun sometimes appears more orange these days due to Canadian wildfires. The photo reminded me of an article in the news I had posted earlier in the day about Van Gogh's 'The Starry Night' blending physics and math within the painting.
This photo looks superimposed, but it's not. Reflections.
The Starry Night
What drew me to the original oil painting while visiting MOMA in NYC was the small spiral above the water reminding me of creation and the fibonacci sequence. Many great works of art have hidden messages or codes within. It is all subjective and takes us to Oracles of Divination.
Channeled art brings messages sometimes visible to the naked eye after the work is completed ... or later when it is meant to be discovered and explored using scientific techniques.
"Art as Therapy" helps combine emotions with design. Van Gogh had mental problems. 'The Starry Night' was painted during a stay at a mental institution. The dappled starlight and swirling clouds of Vincent van Gogh's 'The Starry Night' are thought to reflect the artist's tumultuous state of mind when he painted the work in 1889
