On February 1, 2026, Nancy Guthrie, the American 84-year-old mother of NBC News journalist and Today co-anchor Savannah Guthrie, was reported missing from her home in Catalina Foothills, Arizona, a suburb of Tucson. Evidence recovered at the residence indicated that Nancy had been taken against her will, and Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos stated that he believed she had been abducted.

Everything about this speaks to me of a local event by someone Nancy Guthrie casually knew or had seen in passing - perhaps someone who had done some work in her house, someone she knew from a local store, or medical office. The kidnapping evolved as not a very well thought out plan by amateurs - and hasn't made sense since the beginning.
I originally thought there were two white men but maybe I was seeing the kidnapper and Nancy although the video only shows one man. I've been writing small posts about this over the past week because I haven't had a good feeling since the beginning and I didn't want to put negative energy out there - but as I said it would be extremely unlikely for an 84 year old woman to go through such an ordeal with her health issues and still be alive. I hope I'm wrong, but we will soon find out.

Over the past month people have followed the kidnapping of Nancy Guthrie. I have always believed Nancy died on the night she was taken - the event being too much for an 84 year old woman with health issues.
Last week I had a dream in which she came to me, allowing me to know she is on the other side. She told me to look down at the ground and showed me the color yellow everywhere growing into a bright white light that woke me up. That day her children laid yellow flowers and a card at a growing memorial outside her home. The only word I remember her telling me was "missed" which I took to mean she misses them. Hope prevails - but as the days pass - I believe her children know Nancy is on the other side. This doesn't come to closure until she is found along with the people who took her.
