With Clell near the entrance. (Some pics are distorted. I should have used my camera.)
Selfie at the NY Auto Show with friends Clell Tickle, Marion, who was celebrating her birthday, and her husband Chuck. I know Marion and Chuck from my undergraduate days at Brooklyn College later raising our families in Manhattan Beach, Brooklyn. Fun reunion. Happy Birthday Marion. The people in the vehicle are real. (Camera makes them look like mannequins.) I'm pointing to the logo which lights up as do the 'lines' on either side of it.
It's not easy getting in and out of a truck at age 82 but I did it with a little help from Clell 'boosting my chassis'. I love pick-up trucks. Give me a western hat and boots, some good old country music, and I'm good to go! A women who drives a school bus sat down next to me and told me she also wants a pick-up but agrees - they're not a city vehicle.
There were dozens of other vehicles - some you could sit in and others just on display. Clell took lots of pics that he will forward to me but I'm hoping the quality is better than the ones above. To be continued ...
