Moonbows are a sign of divine guidance and protection. They are a nod from the universe, reminding us that we are supported and guided by higher forces. Seeing a moonbow is seen as a sign that you are on the right path and that you need to trust your intuition.
Extremely rare, vibrant "moonbows" were spotted in the night sky above the U.S. shortly before the rise of the blue supermoon on Monday (August 19, 2024)   Live Science - August 20, 2024
At least two lunar rainbows, including a stunning "double moonbow," have been spotted above the U.S. in the lead-up to the blue supermoon. Moonbows, also known as lunar rainbows, are created in the same way as their solar counterparts, with one obvious difference: they appear when moonlight, rather than sunlight, reflects and refracts off falling raindrops. But they are much rarer because they can only be seen around a full moon, when our planet's natural satellite is at its brightest in the night sky. The moon will remain bright for the next few nights, meaning you still have a chance to see this ethereal phenomenon for yourself, if you're lucky. And we can tell you how.

2024 Democratic National Convention
Eyes on Chicago this week as history is made. Transfer of Power. Passing of Torch. Security high. Protestors gathering. Glimpsing a look at politicians and celebrities. Weather cooperating - weather influences emotional behavior.
You can ... watch live with media commentary. Record and watch later. Check highlights on media. Check to see how Trump reacts as he looses center stage all week and can't handle it. Check polls - but they will change until Election Day. Ignore it all. Understand that the outcome is already set in place in the simulation and events pre and post the election are for emotional value only.
I never watch political events live. Monday was no different as the DNC extending well into the night. Joe Biden was the night's keynote speaker delivering an emotional address celebrating his accomplishments, and passing the torch to Kamala Harris who started the convention with a surprise appearance honoring him.
Honoring Joe Biden's service to the nation over past 50 years is one thing - but praising him for stepping down and not running again is something else. Biden saw many changes in the political landscape of America. He will be remembered as a public servant who always did his best - but over the past year it became obvious to everyone that he could not serve another four years - so why praise him for stepping down as some believe he was forced to do - which he denies.
Kamala Harris will go on to win and in so doing take whatever time remains in the simulation to make change. Trumpism will be defeated by those who understand its existential threat to America and the rest of the world. Trump will be held accountable.
For Kamala to turn things around one must also remember that without a united Congress change remains an endless uphill battle where the best of policies are stalled and often never pass. It takes two to tango - the Senate and the House and all the puppets (players) who work within ... as nothing really changes just another set of characters in the algorithms of reality
Back here in New York and neighboring Connecticut - climate change hit home as torrential rain turned streets into raging rivers, trapping people in cars and a restaurant, covering vehicles in mud, and swept two women to their deaths.
It's a scene played over and over again in different parts of the country and the world - having more to do with shaping the future of America - than all the politicians and their rhetoric put together.
Below are the highlights of the events followed by Stephen Colbert's Live coverage with special guests and lots of humor.
Takeaways from the first night of the Democratic National Convention
Steve Kerr - NBA and Team USA's Men's Basketball Coach
at the 2024 Olympics where they took home the gold
Hillary Clinton, "Something is happening in America". Good speech. Hillary spoke about Shirley Chisholm who came to me in a dream two weeks ago and said Kamala is going to win.
Joe Biden, "The work and prayers of centuries have brought us to this day. What shall our legacy be? What will our children say? Let me know in my heart when my days are through, America, I gave my best to you."
Takeaways from the second night of the Democratic National Convention
Barack and Michelle Obama electrified the Democratic National Convention on Tuesday, delivering back-to-back speeches that eviscerated Donald Trump and urged Americans to reject the Republican nominee once and for all. The former president - in a speech that evoked memories of his emergence into the American political consciousness and his own winning campaigns - said that the vast majority of us do not want to live in a country that's bitter and divided.
"We don't need four more years of bluster and bumbling and chaos. We have seen that movie before, and we all know that the sequel is worse." I loved Obama's reference to Trump's obsession with crowd (penis) size.
The former first lady, in one of the most memorable speeches in
convention history urged Americans to vote for Kamala Harris.
Always a personal favorite - Bernie Sanders - My age and originally from Brooklyn
