Friday night Bill Maher ended his show by talking about how broken everything is. He is correct ... and it's going to get a whole lot worse as our simulated reality ends.
The concept that everything is created to be 'Broken' in a physical/bipolar reality - is increasingly understood - covering every aspect of the human experience. There is no one to blame. It's simply the algorithm of physical reality designed to create experiences for emotional value in the cycles and chaos of time.
Groundhog Day derives from the Pennsylvania Dutch superstition that if a groundhog emerges from its burrow on this day and sees its shadow, it will retreat to its den and winter will continue for six more weeks; if it does not see its shadow, spring will arrive early.
The film Groundhog Day is about being trapped in a Time Loop. It stars Bill Murray and Andie MacDowell. Currently MacDowell stars in the TV Series The Way Home about time travel.
The concept of reality as a Time Loop was referenced in other films and TV shows - my favorite being Edge of Tomorrow starring Tom Cruise and the Stargate SG1 episode Window of Opportunity ranked as the number 4 most watched episode. (I googled it). In all cases the time loop was 'Broken' at the end.
The concept of physical reality being stuck in a time loop - which makes it part of a simulated experience - is not new. It is incorporated into our experience here though most people are not programmed to be aware of the time dilations.
Saturday on NBC nightly news - members of the victims' families in the DC mid-air crash last week were covered (fast forward to 8:00). Vitaly Kay talked about the loss of his wife and 12 year old son - the cute boy you saw on the news last week - who were returning from the elite ice-skating camp in Kansas to their home in Delaware. I paused when Vitaly said that his seven year old son asked him, "Can we reboot them?" (fast forward to 9:20). Vitaly told the woman interviewing him, "I knew what he meant." CUT
Everything in our bipolar (physical) realty is programmed to be challenged for emotional value - with the airline industry no exception. There are the challenges we know about - and the ones we know little about until something unfortunate happens and lives are lost.
I have clients who work at a wide range of airline and travel related jobs - that include commercial airlines, private jets, the military, reverse engineered aircraft - each reporting their own set of issues about their jobs and feelings about why things go wrong. At a time where people are programmed to vent - I've heard it all from personal to legal grievances having to do with this industry.
My clients who work as air traffic controllers report a shortage in personnel and the dangers that ensue as a result. This is not new and as always has to do with money - the lack of funding to hire the proper amount of people needed for the jobs available. Let's see what Trump's department of transportation does to alleviate some of the problems ... and yes hiring should be based on 'best qualified'. No one can solve the airlines' problems - especially those involving climate conditions - but they can make things safer when addressing obvious issues.
In past years when there was a tragedy resulting in a mass death toll - I would immediately go to the grids and check on the souls while staying emotionally detached. There were souls who told me they had a premonition about dying, others who didn't understand they were dead, while most were in confusion. This year something has changed but I'm not sure what it is yet.
If you can grid travel - see if you can return to the moment of impact and can trace what happened after the crash. Safe journey to all.
