"Bibliotherapy" - When reading can - and can't - help with mental health
BBC - June 17, 2025
Bibliotherapy - also referred to as book therapy, reading therapy, poetry therapy or therapeutic storytelling - is a creative arts therapy that involves storytelling or the reading of specific texts. It uses an individual's relationship to the content of written material as therapy. Bibliotherapy partially overlaps with, and is often combined with writing therapy - journaling, poetry, short stories, novels and other forms of creative expression. Most writer's first work is a catharsis of their emotional journey in physical reality.
For those who identify as visual learners - one can empathize with fictional characters in much the same way by watching films, etc. This helps to understand why people relate to sophomoric comedies or melodramatic productions to work through their emotions - the manner in which humans are programmed to learn, process, and heal.
Bibliomancy is divination using a book you believe holds truth.
Pick a book. Balance it on its spine. Let it fall open.
With eyes closed, touch your finger to any random passage.
View the passage as wisdom to your future.

United States Strikes Iranian Nuclear Sites

Many believe that if Trump, in his first term, had not canceled Obama's nuclear deal with Iran, this wouldn't be happening today. Presently Trump seems to be negotiating a similar deal, but we live in a different reality today - closer to end times where destiny rules. There are many ongoing questions as the world watches, wait, and voices personal opinions.
This wouldn't be happening if it wasn't meant to.
Iran takes us to Persia and Z Zoroaster aka Zarathustra the Persian Prophet in one of his many personas as author of the reality in which we experience today. You may remember him as Thoth the Scribe, the Anunnaki (extraterrestrials), among others.

Birthright Israel or simply Birthright, is a free ten-day heritage trip to Israel, Jerusalem, and the Golan Heights for young adults of Jewish heritage between the ages of 18 and 26. The program is sponsored by the Birthright Israel Foundation, whose donors subsidize participation. Read more
Hundreds of young Americans on Israel birthright trips were evacuated by a cruise ship after surviving ballistic missile attacks by Iran.
One of these people is my daughter Nikki's friend's son who told her how he hid and how scared he was as the bombs hit. He and other students were rescued and taken to Cyprus ... then home to the US. I know students enjoy the birthright trip after college but should never go to Israel - too many deadly conflicts. Oh well. Glad they are all safe. He and others will have pics and stories to share ... and may have made some new friends along the way.
