Now that my college-age grandsons are back in school - I wondered what college Barron Trump is attending. Many people have speculated that he is autistic. I find him to be on the spectrum, having traits including social anxiety and an often distant look of detachment.

His karmic connection is with his mother, Melania. In an interview I once heard Trump refer to Barron as "my wife's son". Months ago Melanie said that wherever Barron goes to college she will live close by. That took me to Florida and New York City. NYC was my first choice as we have all kinds of colleges and options ... or he could study remotely. He could live in Trump Towers ... or Melania could have another residence near the school.

Today I decided to see what college Barron is attending - if any. It is reported that he has chosen a New York City college though no university was named. I'm leaning towards NYU if any or perhaps he has taken a gap year.. The news also reported that he hadn't gone to orientation or started classes as determined by the fact that he's easy to spot at 6'9" tall and he has full-time security.

Barron is also at an age where mental illness kicks in so you never know what the pressures of his father being found guilty of so many crimes can do to any child especially one who is challenged.

Truth is truth. Barron was witness to much of what went on behind the scenes of his family dynamic which would send any teen to therapy. He is old enough to understand his family's secrets. Though sons want to love and admire their fathers - that is not aways possible.

Barron is Gen Z playing by a whole new set of rules.

Life could not have been easy for Barron due to his father's criminal behavior and whatever he has witnessed living with Trump.

We all know Melania is in it for the money. It won't be long before Melania and Trump permanently go their separate ways - as they have for years - especially when he's not reelected and goes into some sort of confinement for crimes committed.

As a former Special Ed teacher and therapist my heart goes out to Barron.

The towering 18-year-old was flanked by Secret Service agents as he stepped onto the downtown Manhattan campus. Barron's first stop was the dean's office before being whisked off to classes at NYU's Stern School of Business. He will live at home in Trump Tower. Donald Trump said Barron hopes to play soccer for NYU.
