The Verrazano Narrows Bridge is a vehicular suspension bridge in New York City which crosses the Narrows at the entrance to New York Harbor. It links the boroughs of Brooklyn and Staten Island. It was designed by O. H. Ammann. Construction began in 1959 and was completed in 1964. It is the longest suspension bridge in the United States, with a main span of 4,260 ft (1,298 m). There are two levels, each holding six traffic lanes. History

Personal Connections to the Verrazano Bridge
In my book Sarah and Alexander, one of the main characters is named Amaan. He and Sarah work together to defeat the enemy and stop a time loop linked to 2012. As it turns out, the name of the man who designed the Verrazano Bridge, the place where destiny brought me, was O.H. Ammaan. I did not know this when I created the character in 1989. 'O' symbolizes completion and 'H' represents balance.
My apartment, faces the bridge, (click links above), the Atlantic Ocean, Cannonball Park which has an obelisk and has history that date back to the American Revolution. Down the block we find historic Fort Hamilton. the area speaks of the energies of the founding fathers of this nation, those linked to the ancient mystery school teachings that moved from creation in the Middle Eastern program, to the European programs, to the American program replete with symbology. It's all about the alchemy of time and consciousness as we become self-aware, heal, balance and understand the nature of reality as a biogenetic experiment in time and emotion.
Here in Ellie's world, my apartment remained empty for 9 months, prior to my moving here in June 1990. Life has been an evolving journey since that time. Everything that was predicted on the day I moved here has unfolded through the years with the exception of a meeting with a producer who would created the film version of 'Sarah and Alexander'. I sense that day grows close.
As you know, Z(oroaster), my connection on the other side, in the role of Thoth, is the architect of everything in our reality, the blueprint, created by the patterns of sacred geometry that repeat in cycles called time. He brought me here, to his creation, its cables resonating into the universe and the great pyramid, above and below to form the hourglass in the illusion of time. It is the twins, the twin arches/arks which are the tuning forks, of reality, the bridges of time and consciousness, the Twin Towers which once stood in lower Manhattan, as I stood on my terrace and watched them implode after being hit by airplanes, not to mention upstate New York and the Catskill Mountains. If you have read 'Sarah and Alexander", here is a column from June 29, 1998, that contains other synchronicities I shared with friends Alexander and Anna. It's all about metaphors and the alchemy of consciousness.
